The Advanced Dental Admission Test (ADAT) is a standardized examination developed by the American Dental Association (ADA) for dental school graduates who wish to apply to advanced dental education (specialty) programs in the United States. It is required by a select list of programs, most heavily in endodontics and orthodontics, and accepted by many more. The exam is scored 200-800 in 10-point increments with no passing score; programs set their own expectations.
